Men of God throughout history have stressed the importance of reading God’s Word on a regular basis.The Psalmist David wrote in Psalm 119:11:
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
We at People’s Regular Baptist we place an emphasis on a regular reading of God’s Word. Several of our members make a commitment each year to read the Bible through. They have found it very useful to follow a Bible reading plan in order to keep on track.
There are several websites that provide reading plans that you can download and print out so that you can keep them with your Bible. Here is a list of a few of them that we have found to be helpful:

- Faith Bible College provides an OT/Poetry/NT style plan.
- Ligonier Ministries provides a Variety of Plans for you to choose from.
Whatever plan you choose it is our prayer that God will richly bless you through the reading of His Holy Word.
